| Abstract: | Software package Mini-Micro CDS/ISIS has been used in the creation of data base for the Directory of Participating Institutions for National Union Catalogue of Scientific Serials in India (NUCSSI). Describes step by step the file development and sorting of records in the data base. Different sort keys are given in the worksheet along with the formatting required for the various print outputs. Specifies the recency of the data received from various institutions leading to the updating of the NUCSSI data base. Some problems faced during the work are mentioned. |
