dc.description.abstractIntroduces the PERT/CPM (Network Analysis) techniques and explains the methodology of their application. Applies CPM technique for planning and scheduling publication of an abstracting service. Suggests other areas of application of PERT/CPM techniques in library and information works. Concludes that Network Analysis is applicable to library and information works with a few exceptions like reference service.en_US
