| Abstract: | An attempt has been made in this paper to identify the significant contributors in the field of library and Information Science. Work cited in four different editions of the Handbook of Special Librarianship and Information Work, published by Aslib, have been considered as the base for this study. The name of S.R. Ranganathan tops the list of twenty five names selected by analyzing the data. Results obtained in this study have also been compared with a similar study made earlier. |
