| Abstract: | The synthesis of any mechanism can be carried out by optimization technique. Use of the concept of reliability for synthesis of low-pressure air servomechanism with control on maximum permissible error is presented in this paper. Being simple, the approach may be used to design a mechanism for any desired reliability in performance. The application of approach is illustrated by means of a numerical example. A digital simulation for the approach has also been presented. |
