| Abstract: | Analytical solutions have been obtained to show the concentration distribution behaviour of pollutants from a point source along sinusoidally and exponentially varying groundwater flow in an aquifer of uniform permeability. A direct relationship between dispersion coefficient and velocity is used and new time variable is introduced to convert the partial differential equation with time dependent coefficients into one with constant coefficients. |
