Flow analysis has been carried out in a model can-type gas turbine combustor using a commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code. The code has been validated against the experimental results quoted in the literature and part of the present study. The comparison has shown that CFD code can be effectively used to carry out parametric investigations on the complete combustor model for the combustor design. en_US
