| Abstract: | Surface coatings based on CNSL were prepared from formaldehyde, styrene, hexamine and epichlorohydrin for the protection of bamboo surfaces. CNSL based coatings were applied on bamboo and the performance of these coatings was evaluated by accelerated and chemical resistance tests. It was observed that these coatings can be used for the protection of bamboo from corrosive environments. |
