The densities and viscosities have been determined for the binary system of water with tetrahydrofuran and 1, 2- dimethoxymethane at 298, 308 and 318 K. From the experimental results, the excess molar volumes (VE) and the devition of viscosity from the mole fraction average (Δŋ) have been derived. These are explained on the basis of molecular interactions between the components of the mixtures.en_US
