Five 1,4-di-n-alkylbenzene sulphonates have been prepared and their critical micelle concentrations have been determined at four different temperatures using spinning drop technique. Effects of the sulphonate chain length and the ionic strength of the solution on the critical micelle concentration have been examined. Surface properties and thermodynamic parameters of micellization have been discussed.en_US
