Abstract: The fibre distribution in yarn in relation to rotor machine variables has been studied. It is observed that an increase in rotor speed and opening roller speed invariably decreases the spinning-in-coefficient, while an increase in rotor diameter first decreases and then increases the spinning-in-coefficient. But the increase in opening roller speed plays the dominant role in decreasing the spinning-in-coefficient.
