| Abstract: | A new formulation is suggested which gives bleaching results comparable to those obtained conventional process along with noticeable savings in steam, electricity and water consumption. The process can be considered eco-friendly as it avoids the use of banned chemicals, requires low concentrations of chemicals and reduces waste concentration in waste water. |
