The effect of blend composition, linear density and twist factor of polyester-wool blended yarn on the pilling tendency of polyester worsted fabrics having the same nominal cover factor has been studied over different test revolutions. It is observed that the incidence of pills increases with increase in polyester content, fineness of weft thread and decrease in twist factor. At higher test revolutions, the polyester content increases in the pill with decrease in number of bigger pills. As the weft count becomes finer, bigger pills gradually decrease and medium and small pills show an increasing trend with increase in test revolutions for all the blends.en_US
