| Abstract: | Absorbency increases and strike through time decreases with increase in cotton content in cotton thermal-bonded nonwovens. In general, cotton shows wet back (rewet) properties similar to that of polypropylene. Tenacity increases with increase in binder fibre concentration but decreases with increase in area density. Bending length increases with binder fibre content and area density. |
