| dc.description.abstract | Forty bisazo dyes, 6,6'-bis[3-(3-/4-arylazophenyl)-2-methylquinazolin-4(3H)-ones], have been prepared by coupling 6,6'-bis[3-(3-/4-aminophenyl)-2-methylquinazolin-4(3H)-one] with N-substituted and N N-disubstituted derivatives of anilines and their dyeing performance on nylon, polyester and cellulose triacetate fibres has been assessed. The dyes show fair to very good fastness to light and very good to excellent fastness to washing, rubbing, perspiration and sublimation. | en_US |
