The fibre disorder at rotor groove was measured by using Lindsley's technique. The effect of draw frame passages on fibre disorder at rotor groove and in feed sliver was studied. Fibre orientation at rotor groove has been found to be inferior to that in feed sliver. Better fibre straightening with no significant improvement in fibre parallelization is achieved with the second drawing passage.en_US
