dc.description.abstractSeventeen 3- and 6-substituted mono- and bis-azo-4-hydroxy-1-methyl-2-quinolones were prepared and their dyeing performance on polyester fibre was assessed. The dyeings on polyester had yellow, orange, red brown and violet shades with good pick-up, low light fastness and excellent sublimation fastness.en_US
