Four monoazo disperse dyes, 2,4,6-trialkylamino-5-arylazopyrimidines, were prepared and their dyeing performance on polyester and polyamide fibres was assessed. The dyeings had lemon yellow shades with low pick-up, poor light fastness and moderate sublimation fastness on polyester fibres and good pick-up and light fastness on polyamide fibres.en_US
