| Abstract: | Nine azodisperse dyes were prepared by coupling diazotized 2-bis styryl-6-amino-4-oxoquinazoline with various naphthol derivatives and their dyeing performance on polyester fibres was assessed. All the dyes showed fair to good light fastness, very good to excellent wash fastness and poor to moderate %exhaustion. |
