| Abstract: | Some azodisperse dyes, 5-arylazo-4-oxo-4, 5-dihydro-1, 3-thiazol-2-(ɑ-arylazo)-acetamides (II), ɑ-arylazocyanoacethydrazides (IV) and 3-amino-4-arylazo-2-pyrazolin-5-ones (V), have been prepared for use as dyestuffs. The effect of nature and orientation of substituents in the diazonium component on the colour of azo dyes is discussed. |
