| Abstract: | A combined loop autoleveller has been developed for use at jute breaker card. A separate motor drives the delivery side of the card including the doffer. The speed of the motor varies according to the signal received from the control circuit. The transfer efficiency of the doffer is thereby altered and, consequently, the sliver weight is maintained at the desired level. It has been possible to reduce the breaker sliver irregularity by 50%. |
