In needle-punched jute non-wovens a decrease in the ratio of reinforcing material weight to web weight decreased air permeability as well as thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity of the non-wovens increased with decrease in thickness. The closeness of structure and rigidity of the reinforcing material decreased the air permeability.en_US
