| Abstract: | An X-ray method for evaluating the degree of crystallinity in poly (vinyl alcohol) is described. The method has been used for the characterization of oxidized PVA samples. The results of X-ray characterization of PVA polymers are in conformity with their infrared spectroscopic evaluation. |
