Certain stress-strain characteristics of Ram bouiliet, Ramb. × Chokla and Chokla wool fibres in water have been compared after dividing the fibres into five diameter interval groups. Stresses at 2 and 30% extension and the Hookean slope differ significantly in groups and breeds, whereas stresses at 15% extension and breaking stress differ significantly among the diameter groups. There is no significant effect of breeds and groups on breaking extension.en_US
