| Abstract: | The effect of resin concentration and fibre twist on the main characteristics of cotton stretch yarn-denier, bulking factor, potential stretch and recovery and tensile properties-has been studied. The influence of twist on resin take-up has also been examined. In cotton stretch yarns, bulking factor and tensile properties show a decreasing trend, whereas denier and percentage stretch show an increasing trend with rise in twist and resin take-up. |
