| Abstract: | The effect of fibre and process factors on preferential migration of components in binary blended yarns has been studied. It is observed that fibre type, blend composition and yarn twist have strong influences on the segregation behaviour of the components. The drafting system employed on the ring frame also influences the extent of migration. |
