| Abstract: | A rapid and reproducible two-stage carbon replica technique for replicating the surfaces of cotton fibres for electron microscopic observations is described. The technique is suitable for routine characterization of fibres at varietal level to assess their best end use, and for selections by cotton breeders in quality breeding programmes. |
