| Abstract: | A simple, inexpensive and direct-reading spindle speed meter has been designed and fabricated. The accuracy and reproducibility of measurements made with the meter are comparable to those obtained with the stroboscope. The potential industrial applications of the meter, besides its use in spindle speed measurement, are indicated. |
