| dc.description.abstract | A single specimen of Roa jayakari measuring total length 85.3 mm weighing 15.3 g was collected from trawl bycatch of a multiday trawler of Visakhapatnam fishing harbour. Morphometric and eristic characters of the recorded specimen are described and discussed.
