| Abstract: | The observations on infrasonic pressure variations during total solar eclipse of 24 Oct. 1995 are described and discussed. The observations were made with two identical microbarographs, one located at Neem Ka Thana in the totality path (maximum obscuration 100 per cent) and the other hand at Delhi (maximum obscuration 95.75 per cent). No evidence of wave motion could be detected at both the places and a possible explanation for this is given. A drop of 1.0 mb at Neem Ka Thana and 1.8 mb at Delhi in the pressure levels around the maximum phase of the eclipse was a significant eclipse effect observed. |
