The infrared range of the atmospheric transmission spectrum is characterized by various absorption bands of water vapour. Analysis is made of spectroscopic measurements of atmospheric water vapour over Delhi using a solar infrared spectroradiometer. The water vapour content obtained from solar infrared spectroradiometer is compared with the water vapour content obtained from radiosonde observations during the month of January 1992.en_US
