| Abstract: | The Balloon Flight Operations (BAFOs) group is responsible for the work related to the launch of all scientific balloon flights carried out from the TIFR's National Balloon Facility (TNBF), Hyderabad; this involves meticulous planning and flawless execution of several tasks within the allotted time frame. There are several aspects of BAFOs; these are broadly classified in terms of the preflight, in-flight and post-flight activities. In this paper, several important features of the BAFOs are presented. |
