High angular resolution and low background are the primary requisites for detectors for future astronomy experiments in the low energy gamma-ray region. Scintillation counters are still the only available large area detectors for studies in this energy range. We present the preliminary details of a large area phoswich anger camera designed for coded aperture imaging and discuss its background and position characteristics.en_US
