| Abstract: | Semi-empirical relations have been employed to obtain differential and total ionization cross-sections due to proton impact on ammonia and methane. Peaks appearing in the experimental cross-sections have been explained as due to the Auger process. The results so obtained are in fair agreement with the available experimental data. |
