Abstract: Results of analysis showing some effects on the field strengths of 164 kHz signal from Radio Tashkent (41° 25'N, 69° 12'E) recorded at Delhi (28° 35'N, 77° 05'E) due to meridian transits of a few stellar X-ray bodies at the midpoint (35° 04'N, 73° 24'E) of Tashkent-Delhi propagation path, have been reported. While the effects due to SCO-XR-1 and TAU-XR-1 show rather significant results in respect of their 'ion production rates' (cm-3 sec-1), those due to other stellar X-ray sources, Gx, 333 + 2.5 and CYG-XR-1 are small and rather unaccountable. For each star, records for a period of two months, during which respective meridian transits take place between 1900 and 2300 hrs 1ST (UT + 5hrs), have been analyzed.
