Total and dissolved inorganic boron in Hugli estuary was studied for 1, y (March 1989 to Feb. 1990). Organic complex form of boron varied between 10.6 and 32.9% of total boron. The observed semiconservative behaviour of boron was possibly due to its co-precipitation with silica.en_US
