| Abstract: | A study of the effect of increasing level of disturbance on the maximum of daily variation in H at two low latitude stations shows that with increasing magnetic activity, the time of maximum in daily variation in H shifts systematically to an earlier part of the day. It is suggested that this shift occurs due to the superposition of the asymmetric ring current field on the field of dynamo origin. |
