The occurrence of the regular satellite scintillation and the height of the corresponding Es patches have been studied. Most of the diffraction patterns are seen to occur during day-time. It has been shown that height as determined from the regular diffraction patterns for Es patches situated at small zenith angles may be more in error than that for large zenith angles.en_US
