| Abstract: | Some further evidences are presented in support of earlier investigations [J, geophys. Res., 77 (1972), 260; 78 (1973), 320] to establish a relation between the occurrence of sporadic-E ionization and internal gravity waves during a solar eclipse over temperate latitude stations, A qualitative explanation of sudden appearance of sporadic- E during the hours of eclipse maximum is also suggested. |
