| Abstract: | The ionospheric absorption data on 2.0 and 2.2 MHz at vertical incidence at Colombo, Ceylon (geogr. lat., 6° 54' N; long., 79° 52' E) for the period 1965-69 are analyzed and the results are presented. Diurnal .ad seasonal variations of absorption, the values of the index of the cosine of the solar zenith angle and the relative contributions of the D and E layer absorptions have been discussed. |
