| Abstract: | Various features of excitation of spectra of atmospheric gases by low energy (560 eV-1.7 keV) proton bombardment are described. The target gases were N2, air and (A, O2) mix. Spectroscopic, photometric and microphotometric studies were made. The mechanisms for the several excited spectra are discussed in the light of known data of collisional processes. |
