The parameters of the geomagnetic storm which occurred during the period 8-10 March 1970 are analyzed. Field fluctuations are found to be a maximum during the initial phase of the storm. Characteristics of long-period fluctuations have been studied by the analysis of cross power spectra between stations. Period of 20 min and its harmonics are seen to be present. Dst and DS components are also discussed.en_US
