Abstract: Effects observed on ionograms and in cosmic radio noise absorption at Delhi for the eclipse of 22 September 1968 (maximum obscuration 81% at ground) are presented. Both f0F2 and cosmic noise absorption showed anomalous increase during the eclipse. The implications of these observations are discussed. Estimation of electron temperature in the F-region from absorption measurements and the changes in it indicate a decrease near the maximum of the eclipse.
