| Abstract: | Modified ground medium was found to be the best for vegetative growth of Gelidiella acerosa with 0.5 mu g l-1 of vit. B12 30 mu M phosphate (Na2 HPO4), 0.3 mM nitrate (NaNo3), at pH 8 and 30 x 10-3 salinity levels. Growth kinetic constant (Ks) value for nitrate related growth was 20 mu M. |
