dc.description.abstractThe bacterial isolates from seawater showed better N2 fixing capacity than the terrestrial bacteria Azotobacter indicum and Az. lactigenes. An inverse relationship between growth rate and N2 fixation was observed. N2 was fixed more in light than in dark.en_US
