| Abstract: | Fatty acid content Enteromorpha intestinalis, Caulerpa taxifolia, Gelidella acerosa, Gracilaria corticata and Padina gymnospora was estimated by colorimetric and GLC methods. Palmitic acid was found to be the major fatty acid present in these algae. |
