| Abstract: | Chl a, carotenoids, particulate organic carbon (POC), temperature, salinity and pH of surface waters of estuarine and 3 near shore areas of the northwestern Bay of Bengal are presented. Salinity showed negative correlation with chl a (r = 0.914) and POC (r = -0.945). |
