| Abstract: | Study of Recent foraminifera from 3 sandy beaches, viz. Cochin, Chellanam and Purakkad, of Malabar Coast, Western India, reveals the presence of 25 species. Their distribution pattern indicates that it is mainly controlled by ecology in which salinity is the chief factor. |
