| Abstract: | Growth and agar characterstics of G.acerosa exhibit conco itant seasonal variations showing 2 peak values. Harvesting of the Gelidiella crop is advocated at both the times of maximum growth, but only once in a year at place in order to fetch a better yield of the seaweed. |
