Partition coefficient (D) values of trace amounts of impurities (Na, K, Tl, Mn, Cu, Co, Ni, Zn, Cd, Mg, Ca, Cr and AI) have been determined during isothermal crystallization of FeSO4.7H2O at 20°C. Their values are affected by charge of microcomponent ions, size of ionic radii as well as crystal structures of corresponding sulphates and their abilities to form mixed crystals.en_US
