| Abstract: | Reaction of bisacetylacetone biphenyldihydrazone with diamines yielded new binucleating polyaza macrocycles (H4L). Bimetallic macrocyclic chelates of composition M2L(M =Cu2+, Ni2+ and Pd2+) have been synthesized and characterised on the basis of their IR, 1H and 13C NMR and mass spectral data. |
